Mission to the TwinLab of Angola

From the 5 to the 16 of February 2020, a mission to the TwinLabs of Angola (Lubango), Namibia (Windhoek) and Zimbabwe (Gweru and Bulawayo) was organized and conducted by the Executive Coordinator of the Network of TwinLabs of CIBIO in Africa.
The first phase of the mission took place in the city of Lubango, from the 6 to the 8 of February. Together with regional partners, several collaborative issues were addressed, as the process of institution of CIBIO in Angola, the establishment of the Molecular Biology Laboratory in the Polytechnic Institute of Huíla – University Mandume Ya Ndemufayo (UMN), the Master's degree in Biodiversity, Genetics and Conservation, in association with UMN, and the project for the future Museum / Centre of Science for Development of Lubango, whose Bilateral Commission is already established, under the aegis of the Provincial Government of Huíla.
